The Netty.Today MCP server
Netty.Today is a calm planner with a remote MCP server: your assistant reads and updates your tasks, goals, habits, family lists and team boards. No API keys — access is granted by signing in through the browser and revoked there too. 36 tools cover the whole planner, not just a to-do list. Free during the open period.
Ask your assistant “what's on today?” and it reads your list, adds a task or ticks one off — right inside Netty.Today. This works over the shared MCP standard (Model Context Protocol): any client that can connect a remote MCP server will do.
The difference is connecting without keys. Most servers ask you to paste an API key into the client's settings. Here you simply sign in through the browser: you approve read and write access once, and revoke it whenever you want.

We walked the whole path ourselves in Codex; Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor connect the same way, but we have not tested them. This is not a partnership and not an endorsement — Netty.Today simply opens its server to the shared standard.

Do I need an API key to connect Netty.Today to my assistant?
No. Netty.Today is a remote MCP server with OAuth: you add the address netty.today/mcp in your client, sign in through your browser as usual and approve read and write access there. No keys or passwords are ever stored in the client, and you revoke access in the browser too.
Which assistants can connect to Netty.Today?
Any client that can add a remote MCP server. We walked the whole path ourselves in Codex; Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor connect the same way over the same standard, but we have not tested them and claim no partnership.
What can the assistant actually see and change?
Netty.Today exposes 36 MCP tools covering the whole planner, not just a task list: tasks and checklists, goals on a month-quarter-year cascade, habit streaks, places, personal and team projects, kanban boards, epics and sprints, comments, a daily brief and a planning overview.
Can I hand a task to an AI agent?
Yes. Every card has an "AI executor" field. Assign an agent on the task itself and a connected assistant finds it over MCP, takes it on and marks it done — so the board stays the single place where work is tracked, whoever does it.
Is Netty.Today free to use over MCP?
Yes. The MCP server is part of the product and is free during the open period, with no separate AI add-on required to connect an assistant.
